Massive Engine Vibration/Shake? (1 Viewer)

Alrighty.... I'm down at school right now and I don't go home until the 16th of March.

Right now in the 80 when I hit the gas it feels like the engine shakes, that's if I touch the gas. If I give it more gas it stops shaking/vibrating, it also gets pretty noisey. I think it has got worse over the past week or so. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

check the air intake tube for cracks, usually at the bottom just above the valve cover.

could be other things but start there easiest and most likely.

This identical thing happened to me a few months back.

Turns out it was my #6 injecter had gone bad and she was running on 5 cylinders.

One of my heater hoses had been dripping on it for a long time and after all of the heating and cooling cycles, it just cracked and let the fluid in to fry it.

Not cheap to fix and a pain in the ass but at least I found out before my Baja trip.
