Made a run up Marshall pass to see is it was open. Some great views to be had. Made it within a 1000 ft of the summit before it was apparent the amount of work to make the last few feet would mean driving home on 50 and likely being washed out of my topless 40. The weather was great the whole trip, got a small sprinkle running down to Poncha getting gas and potty break for the boss, and that was it. No dust on the roads was sure nice.

Had one spot to use the shovel that was thrown in the truck at the last minute. Was trying to get around a home made sled loaded with fuel that was left in the middle of the road. A snow cat was trying to pull it out but couldn't move it for some reason. Once I got around it I drug it back after turning around. Hopefully they came back before it got lifted.
Keep trying and once you get through I may end up there soon.
