Just a reminder of the big event at Kansas Rocks Rec. park this weekend. Could you let your members know and/or post it on the website.
On June 12th, Off-Road Motorsports and Kansas Rocks Rec. Park will be hosting ‘OPERATION NIGHT LIGHT’. This event is a fundraiser for our troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our goal is to raise $5000 to help purchase lights to replace the OEM lights on Hummers. We’ll be working with 4-wheel Parts and their program ‘Operation Light Sabre’. They have agreed to match our donations and ship the new lights overseas. We will also be collecting items that soldiers currently stationed in the war zone have requested. Please view the event flyer and item list. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still donate at Kansas Rocks Rec. Park. For further information visit www.ksrockspark.com.
We’ll see you at the park on June 12th for fun and surprises including several raffle prizes worth over $1000. Join the Kansas Rocks Recreation Park FaceBook page to get the latest information.
Thanks,
Phil Ruff
