Been seeing some smoke from the GX guys that Lexus and ML are releasing a redesigned amp to solve complaints. I heard they did the same for the TX. Wondering if we might get something similar for the LX if we complain enough.

I don’t have especially large feelings about it. I think it could use some more bass but could easily live without it. It’s light years better than my 17 GX. But the only thing I like more than upgrades are free upgrades.Honestly I kinda like the LX system. For classical and folk music at least, which is mostly what I listen to. I'm not an audiophile though so maybe I just haven't heard any better.
I agree, I think the bass is plenty throughout all my music selections, sometime too much and mine isn’t much passed halfway. Not sure how you guys have it tuned or if you've got ears that don't work, but I've had to tune down the bass just to hear the rest of the music. Of course it depends on the type and recording quality, but on a rap piece unless all you want to hear is bass, I've got it at about 70% bass, and it's more than enough.
Lexus owe it to us. They should atleast give us a heavily discounted updated amp and subwoofer. My 2020 LC Heritage's JBL has way better sound than this Mark Levinson on my LXBeen seeing some smoke from the GX guys that Lexus and ML are releasing a redesigned amp to solve complaints.
