Hey Dan, you are my hero! You're living outside the lower mainland, own your own house, that has a shop with a concrete floor so you can work on your rig out of the weather, and you get to fix trains for a living (instead of P.O.S. aircraft)! Way to go man! Good for you. You're livin' the dream.

Dan, you got a wood stove in the shop? Winter can get mighty cold! And it's that dry cold... goes straight to your nose and lips :) Still beats wrenching in the rain.

I am thinking of doing the same , getting out of here . I like the set up invite some of us up and we will jack up the garage!

Looks pretty cozy. I gather you are doing some kinda work for the railroad...yard mechanic..something like that?

I'd love to get the hell out of Dodge as well, but I love my job too much. But if I ever found some kinda drafting/engineering job out of town that paid decently, I'd be on it like Oprah on a baked ham.
