X2

Also close!

to what?

i gotta drop off eds bumper and mirror arm.

X2 ...close to what?!?

Not close for me... especially when i hafta go the opposite way from work to let the dog out, then back past work and beyond to PJs/Beltramos.

I like the place as an option for a meeting place, but I'd prefer it didn't become the standard spot. I actually think we should move it around so it's not always inconvenient for any one person.

In fact, I'll volunteer to host next month's again (unless anyone objects or has better suggestions)... I finally bought a sofa so we'll even have places to sit, :bounce: and I got a 'yota 4-wheelin vid we can roll in the background.

Also... remember that Nick asked at the last meeting if we'd join him to help put his '40 back together after paint.

There was some drunken grumbling about it being too far, but c'mon! Nick drives in to join us all the time, and he's a club member askin for a little help, even volunteering to provide food & such.

I think we should help him. This is different than just having a meeting that's a little far for the majority of the members: he's askin for a hand.

I, for one, am willing to go help, and I think we, as a club should, too. Who's with me??

Nick, post up if you're ready and still need the help. Like I mentioned to you, you can suggest a separate (non-monthly-meeting) night if you like, too.

I am all for helping Nick
I will cast my vote that we go to his house and help him this month.
As far as the spots for meetings I do not care were it is I just dont wanna stand and talk or have to yell to have people hear me.
I will try and host this summer after the "F" ing road is fixed as long as its not far for anyone.

Meeting

Gents,
The body is painted, the doors and such should get painted on Monday, so I probably won't get it home for a week or so.

We should probably meet on Tuesday somewhere close to all of you.

My wife had suggested inviting eveyone to a reassembly party one Sunday, she offered to cook us all a Roast Beef dinner, with all the trimmings, real gravy and Yorkshire puddings etc.

We could get our knuckles skinned and our bellies filled.

Oh and I would be willing to pay Mr. Grumpy 20c per hour, 35c bonus for good behavior, but he would not be allowed to use the big hammer.

Just for your info rt130 is now open.:bounce:
