I just got done removing my steering box from a 71 fj40, although I think I might have to cut off the steering shaft in order to retro fit it to the mini truck p/s system. Is this what you need?

I have one off of a 78, but I don't know if the steering boxes on a 72 and 78 are different.

Shipping could be expensive as I am in Canada.

According to Specter, the steering box was the same from 9/72 to 1984, so we should have the same box. Can I e-mail you a pic of mine, just to be sure?
