Probably everyone already knows this, but just in case... this is on a 2005 lx470 w/ Levinson audio..
I did an oil/filter change before heading out on a long trip, and reset the maintenance reminder in the menu structure of the nav unit... "Info/Maintenance..."
About 500 miles into our trip, the "Maint Req'd" light came on, causing me a bit of concern as I'm current on pretty much everything now. Turns out, it's not linked to the nav unit reminders, but is more of a dealer reset thing. Easy to do...
1. W/out starting engine, turn key to the On/run position
2. Cycle trip odometer w/ pushbutton until total mileage shows
3. Push and hold button, turn key to off, then back on to On/Run
4. Continue to hold until "Maint Req'd" light blinks then goes out.
All set!
