For those of you who have purchased the maggiolina RTT I am trying to do a price comparison. How much was shipping for you? We are considering buying a used airlander for 2000$ but will have to drive to get it. Total for the tent will be about 2300$ and a new one is 2500$. Is it still a good deal? It's a few years old as well but well kept it seems.

Im thinking shipping is usually around $200/$300 but could be wrong...!!
You should also call to see they have it in stock...

so you are around $200 difference...
Fora big ticket item like that, I'll rather get the new one... unless it was some $800 less than asking price...
If it was local to you it would be a much better deal...

I agree with MANUCHAO, if you're saving $200-$300 for something that is in the $2000 range, Id rather pay the $200 more for something new. If you were saving $600-$800 then it'd be worth going to get it. That's at least how I would see it.

Most used goods need to be at close to a 50% discount to be worth it. For that price difference, get a new one.

Well I forgot to factor in taxes on the item too. So a new one would be about 3000$ then. And savings would be 700$. Ehhhh. I don't know! That's a good amount saved but is it enough..

I just purchased a RTT from Arizona and am shipping it to NC. It's 4'x4'x15"T and is costing me around $300 to ship Old Dominion Freight Line. I had to get it at a steal to make the shipping and risk of damage worth it to me.
