Mabey Canyon

Woa, there's a trail like 2 blocks up the street from our new place! WTF?!??! It's called Mabey Canyon.. no gate or anything, just a dirt canyon road at the end of a devloped street.

of course i had to go check it out last night..

The sign says 'no tresspassing' and from google earth it looks like there are some homes back there. I stopped at the sign and made a hard right up a steep climb to find out i came up to a water tower. I proceeded until the trail became to tight to fit on.. then i had to turn around, luckily i had room to turn around.

On my way back down the hill i noticed a car entering the 'no tresspassing' area and they yelled at me "get the hell out" or some crap. I wasnt on their land. Anyhoo i left anyways. I don't need to get shot by some meth-heads that live back in the canyon.

I live on mabey canyon and ive been up that road befor. Dont EVER walk up there theres 2 german shepards guarding the property. Theres also smashed up cars put into the side of the hill yeahhh.. a doctor lives up there and hes a total ass. hes not afraid to shoot because YES he has a gun. I see cops up there ALLLL the time. Its bull s***

So, whats with the crazy "beach pool" at further up the road? Dam thing looks like a beach with tons of lounge chairs and a water slide or two?

I think it's a water reservoir. We live directly across the canyon from it where the Tennis courts are.
