LX570 2nd Row Seat not flipping up

As title says, I’m having an issue with the drivers side 2nd row seat not flipping up. It folds flat, and sounds like the release activates to flip up, but it remains locked to floor. I’ve flipped it up without issue as recent as a month ago.

I’ve found 1 thread regarding an similar issue in GX470, but nothing for the LX. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. Try lubing the locking mechanism at the bottom base of the seat. Afterwards, push down on the seat when you depress the release lever.
