Lx470 mounting Offroad lights with stock bumper (1 Viewer)

I bought this bracket from @87warrior and have not been able to figure out how to use it on my my LX. If anyone is interested in using it on their LC - I will give you a very good deal!

Just bought a set of ARB instensity lights. Was going to mount to ditch light brackets , and still might , but after staring at the front bumper for a while I ended up just drilling a few holes and mounting directly to the stock bumper. Seems solid so far and more functional at bumper level.

Got one installed , missing hardware for the other mount but that's next . May regret it , but it also may just work they seem good enough

This is just bolted to the plastic or did you bolt to the steel under-neigh?

So I just secured it right to the bumper with no support. As expected, if I am barreling down dirt/ washboard roads it is a bit shakey. If you could mount up something underside it would help for sure.

I ended up biting the bullet and ordering a ARB bumper to mount these up and help against deer strikes.

Highly recommend the lights, as for the mounting to a stock bumper, I'd say it was OK most of the time. If the lights weren't so huge it may help, and if you could get some kind of support under, even better.

I know this is a little old , but do you still have this bracket available ? if so , I am interested on buying it , since I am trying to add a couple of lights to my stock bumper too. Thanks
