LX470 - audio and infotainment system issues

Hey everyone,

I've been having some intermittent issues with my 2006 LX470's audio and infotainment system. After 10-20 minutes of driving the sound cuts out completely, and the whole infotainment-system seems to reset when I press the "Audio" button on the panel. To begin with I thought it was the Mark Levison amplifier that needed to be replaced, but i suspect the issue comes from elsewhere as the whole screen restarts with "Lexus" logo and all that.

Has anyone experienced this sort of problem before?

I have been searching the forums in here, but without any luck on this exact problem. Hence, I will try asking the question in this forum before going into full-troubleshooting and removing driver's seat for checking the amplifier and associated wires and fuses - any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my 2005 LC. the stereo would cut out & restart while driving. I troubleshooted (troubleshot?) & realized by battery terminal was the issue. I had a terminal that were 2 pieces. I just had to clean between the terminal pieces, where the 2 pieces made contact. This happened about 3 months ago, since then no issue. Maybe worth a shot. Are you having issues with starting the truck?
