In preparation to do a fall R&R of fluids - I found my FSM (Canada) labelled "1997 Repair Manual LX 450" has different capacity (and in the case of the Transfer Case - different spec) from the FAQ "Sticky" ... these are the capacities provided:

ALL Capacity and type sourced from FSM 1997 Repair Manual LX450 - Canada
(Section PP – Preparation)

Engine oil
Dry fill 7.8 liters (8.2 US qts, 6.9 Imp. qts)
Drain and refill
w/ Oil filter change 7.2 liters (7.5 US qts, 6.3 Imp. qts)
w/o Oil filter change 6.9 liters (7.3 US qts, 6.1 Imp qts)

API grade SH, Energy-Conserving II multigrade
engine oil or ILSAC multigrade engine oil and
recommended viscosity oil, with SAE 5W-30 being
preferred engine oil

Differential oil
Front w/o Differential lock 2.80 liters (2.9 US qts, 2.5 Imp. qts)
w/ Differential lock 2.65 liters (2.8 US qts, 2.3 Imp. qts)
Rear 3.25 liters (3.4 US qts, 2.9 Imp. qts)
Hypoid gear oil API GL-5
Above -18°C (0°F) SAE 90
Below -18°C (0°F) SAE 80W-90 or 80W

Transfer Case
1.7 liters (1.8 US qts, 1.5 Imp. qts)
API GL-4 or GL-5
SAE 75-90

Transmission
Dry fill 11.7 liters (12.4.6 US qts, 10.3 Imp. qts)
Drain and refill 2.0 liters (2.1 US qts, 1.8 Imp. qts)
ATF D-II or DEXRON®III (DEXRON®II)

Engine coolant
w/ Front heater 13.7 liters (14.4 US qts, 12.1 Imp. qts)
w/ Front heater and rear heaters 14.7liters (15.5 US qts, 12.9 Imp. qts)
Ethylene-glycol base


Brake Fluid
Capacity –
SAE J1703 or FMVSS No. 116 DOT 3

Power Steering Fluid
0.8 liters (0.9 US qts, 0.7 Imp. qts)
ATF DEXRON® II or III
 
Neither this, nor anything else I've found lists the capacity of the brake fluid. I need to know how much to buy for a full replacement.

Just did it a couple of weeks ago. I bought 32 fl oz bottle, and there was not much left. Though, mine was a bit involved as one of the rear bleeders was completely rusted and I had to take it off and clean it up...
