96’ LX450 front door is jammed. I closed it, heard a clank, and it’s been shut since. I’ve gotten tired of climbing in from the passengers side and began troubleshooting. And yes, it’s unlocked.
Began by investigating around the window seal with flashlight and welding rod. I read how the spring can pop off and looking at both sides, spring is intact.
I saw where the mechanism is stopping to engage the latch. I used the rod to press down harder than the lever, no budge.
I have now went the long way, removed front seat, and door panel.
I cannot figure out how to unlatch the door. Any advice?
