I am looking at a 96lx with a bad engine and have access to a engine from a 94 lc is it a direct swap?

You might have to do some investigation since the control system and plumbing is different between the 94 MY and the 96MY. The 94 is OBDI and the 96 is OBDII. You might have to swap some sensors and intake parts over from the 96 to the 94 motor.
