Build LX life 700h OT Build

Welcome to the beginning of the journey with my LX! Since there is so little information out there about these so far, I thought it would be fun to attempt and document the modification journey in a good old-fashioned build thread. I've been hitting the trails and exploring for around 15 years or so and have always been chasing the perfect middle ground in terms of build and capability. I'll leave some photos below of some of my favorite rigs across the years.

Two days ago, I'm happy to say that I picked up my LX700h used and have been thoroughly enjoying the drive this week! These things feel rock solid, and I'm excited to start testing.

Nice! Interested to hear your perspective of the 700OT after owning so many other trucks, including 100 and 200 series. Also, would you care to share a ballpark of much you paid, since you bought it used and not a whole lot of info out there in terms of market value for the 300OTs.

I'm also excited to see how this stacks up against everything else I've experienced. Actually planning on doing a little day trip to an area close by to me this weekend. Going to attempt to shoot some video, but I have no idea what I'm doing behind a camera lol. We will see how that goes. I will snap pics nonetheless.

So, lot price was actually at $97.5! I looked around for about a month. Seems like the lowest around the nation was between $101 and $105. And then, just out of nowhere, this particular dealership dropped it by a couple thousand! I called up my local dealership, and they are always happy to bring stuff in for me. We were able to work out a deal.

Yes, it is a 2025. Just over 17,000 miles.
