Questions for the masses: what is a good shipping options for rims and tires? I don't want to drive 10 hours to pick up another set. All of the sellers I've talked with want to steer clear of shipping because of all of the leg work required.

Cheapest is Greyhound. Cut some cardboard circles to protect the rims and drop the off the bus station.

Shipnex.com seems to be reasonable. They can pickup and drop off as well. When I was trying to buy I enquired with them.

I was told around $325:from Houston to Chicago. You can run it in their website and if you call them they might give you exact numbers. I was surprised that they are responsive and courteous. Most of online shippers use them it seems. Working with private sellers who don't want to ship is a pain. I was trying to arrange shipping and finally gave up.
I ended up buying my wheels on eBay

Fastenal is reasonable as well. I shipped a transmission and transfer case from Dallas to ABQ. $140

If the issue is legwork and not price, check with your local UPS store. The one near me will pack and ship most anything legal, but it's expensive. I think FEDEX may do the same?

Oh heck no, price is absolutely a concern. I don't want to spend $300 plus just to ship some wheels. I've looked at DHL and FedEx and they're way too pricey. I was hoping someone knew of a hot shot service or the like. @Diytech123's recommendation is the closest I've found to a reasonable price and they'll pick up and drop off from the residence. =/

Are you looking for a stock set of rims and tires?

U-ship can be pretty good and cheap especially if it is a busy route. List what you need then people bid for your business. They will pick it up directly from the seller and deliver to you. I've used it and it worked great. Very quick.

@EPUro2019 Thank you! That looks extremely promising.

@Jeffwouldgo, I'm actually trying to get a second set of TRD BBS rims. The gentlemen selling them is in a small town and does not wish to go through the shipping process. Problem, is that he is in a small town 6 hours from me, and 2 hours from any major city. Also, the problem of shipping has always kind of been out there for me and I wanted to see what other people were doing.
