If anyone has a full set of stock shackles that will fit my 91' 77 I would love to take them off your hands. thank you in advance!

I would/am when I overhaul the suspension. But I'm hoping to spend less money for now. I've got limited time left here in Japan and want to get a bunch of stuff I know I can't get in the states.... I found some on an auction site. $80-ish shipped for all four. I was just hoping someone here would have some they would part with.

The current shackles work fine for daily driving. But I have a 5mo old and a short wife, highway mpg is worse then city, and off road driving is sketchy. So I have enough justification to me to spend $100 on stock pieces. But I can't justify $280 plus shipping for the OME greasable shackles right now. Especially when I have a whole list of other things I'm trying to get done.

I just ordered new shackles for a hzj77. U.s. 40$ per side from Toyota.

I'm in toyama Japan. 4090Y per side.

:censor: me. I'm going to go back and check. They told me ¥12,000 per set!

Go directly to Toyota- Kyohan (parts dept) or find a nicer (less greedy) local shop. I get all my stuff at the same place that does my syaken. I priced stuff at the Kyohan first then asked if they could give me the same prices as direct from Toyota and they said yes- that is the standard for all shops. So I'm supporting them instead of Toyota and in return I order parts and they bring them to me (or I pick them up on the way to get my daughter after school) usually the next day.

Your getting seriously jacked!

Just ordered 4 new shackles. The language barrier defeated me once again. They originally quoted me per axel. I wrongly assumed it was per shackle.

The language barrier- tell me about it. I'm in the middle of a home resto on a 60 year old building.....

Glad it worked out for you.

Yeah I speak enough Japanese to get me by day to day but it's tough with complex conversations. Is home construction all concrete up where you are?

Nope mostly post and beam wood houses.

Here's what I'm up to:
