It is a swap on a 62, yes. The wires I took the earlier pic of are not part of the PSI harness but I do have a fuse box that was added that’s adjacent to the relays and the E38 under the glove box.take a picture of your engine bay. Reson im asking is because there is some wiring that had to be delt with on the 62 side for it's nss.It is a swap on a 62, yes. The wires I took the earlier pic of are not part of the PSI harness but I do have a fuse box that was added that’s adjacent to the relays and the E38 under the glove box.
Have you checked for blown fuse? Loose wiring. The swap was working fine before this problem? It is a swap on a 62, yes. The wires I took the earlier pic of are not part of the PSI harness but I do have a fuse box that was added that’s adjacent to the relays and the E38 under the glove box.
Pretty sure the NSS was bypassed. It was at least on this “new” starter wire.Reson im asking is because there is some wiring that had to be delt with on the 62 side for it's nss.
I think I inadvertently disconnected the original starting wire at the connector between the ignition switch pigtail while pulling the downstream part of the connector to get some room to work. The “no start” started after I had been messing in there and got worse to the point it was nearly 100% if the time. The new wire gives me what I need. . .just wish i knew where it terminated. . .I can’t find the end w/o pulling everything out of the loom which i’m not doing.Have you checked for blown fuse?
