Hey guys, bought the ute about 2 months ago with the 3F petrol motor which was a bit of a pig.. then split the radiator and cooked the motor so thought I'd start to build something for a bit of fun.

Called Marks4x4 adaptors and was about to order the bellhousing to suit an LS1 but then at the last minute decided i should just buy the transfer case adaptor and keep the auto from the commodore.. Motor went to Hi-Torque for a look-over and a big cam and stall converter went in at the same time..

Car was then sent to a mates shop Fab81 for the full conversion and had it back running within a week.. and so happy with how it is coming along.

I've got 33's on there now but want to go 35's.. wondering what suspension mods i'd have to do to the front? I've lifted the tray 60mm but yeh wondering what i'd need for the front.

Also what are your thoughts on mounting radiator in tray??

Here's some photos from the build

That's a radiator out of a 32 skyline but as I have the motor sitting pretty far forward I can't get a big enough thermo on it.. So sold the pwr and bought a bigger one for the tray and will go davies Craig water pump
