Factory Lockers. Motor runs great. The only thing I've added is an in dash Panasonic DVD/Nav system(awesome to have so far)

The bad: Clear coat is peeling on hood and DS fender, scrape on DS rear quarter panel, Tear in driver seat.

1970 fj40 found

Ok guys found a nice rust free 1970 fj40. The only rust spot I found was about the size of a dime on the passenger side on the door sill. The body is really straight except for one front fender. Has the 1f engine and the condition is unknown. I wish he would part it out I need the rear doors. Anyway he wants or is asking $1500.00 willing to throw down some money if others also want to pitch in for parts they need. I think it can be had for 1000 to 1200.

Is that the one I was looking for that was 20 miles to the east of us? If it was, the owner in the last 4 months sold it for like $200 to $300 dollars. You may be able to talk them down a bit.

Isaac i never thought about that one in mandeville you went looking for. I definitly could be. The guy stated he traded it for 1985 bronco. I would have to say it is a high possibilty because the guy said he hasnt had it long.
