Thanks Isaac. I just talked to Mike and we'll meet up next Monday or the weekend after to exchange some parts. I'm sorry to say that PS setup won't work with BJ it was made up for the 2F :frown: I hope you are doing well bud :)
 
1997 Tacoma Ext. Cab 4x4 FOR SALE

31x10.5x15 Trail Cutter mud tires with 75% or more tread left

Some things that are wrong with it... The front bumper has a few small dings in it, nothing major. It has no air, all it needs is the ac compressor w/ clutch. I swapped a good ac compressor w/ clutch from a '94 4Runner thinking they were identical, but the 4runner compressor is about 1/2 inch short so the belt won't stay on. It also throws a code for a bad 02 sensor. The hoses for the windshield washer reservoir are missing.

I am the second owner and it has run great for me for the last 20K miles (since I bought it). I daily drive it as it is. This would be a good platform for an offroad build or for a daily driver if you put a new air compressor in it.

Oh I saw a '85ish solid axle pick up parked in the big grass lot at the red light across from Chase @ Louis XIV and Kaliste Saloom. This was about 10 days ago.

Can you guys tell me if this looks like a decent deal.

Marc, that looks like a nice rig. I kinda like the black hood. What's the point of the fog lights mounted on the side of the fenders?? They point straight at the turn signals. Anyway, he seems like he is desperate to get rid of it. Check it for rust in the usual areas.....rockers, rear sill, floor board. You can probably get it for a little less than what he is asking now. Let us know what he says. Good luck on this one. :cheers:

I agree with Mike it looks good and sounds like a solid rig not sure about that paint scheme but you can always work with that. Looks like he is near the coast :hhmm: beach cruisers and salt water are not a good mix I'd look into it and ask for some chasis pics to make sure its clean.
