Recently, at highway speeds, an air leak around the windshield of my 2012 FJ Cruiser creates a deafening howl/roar, and one can feel powerful vibrations at the top of the windshield frame. Depending on whether one is driving into a powerful head wind (at 55 MPH), or has a strong tail wind (at 70 MPH), it happens slightly below or above 60 MPH, and the air turbulence from a passing tractor-trailer rig/18-wheeler can temporarily cause the noise. (The thought has even occurred to me that under certain conditions, the windshield might even come loose -- although that seems unlikely.) I suppose that I will take it to either the local Toyota dealer, or a windshield shop for their review, but I was just wondering whether other FJ Cruiser owners have experienced this phenomenon. (By the way, I haven't noticed any accompanying water leak around the windshield.)
