Looking around at alternators. The one in my LC has an external fan which if i understand correctly is the 80A version. Most of the ones I'm seeing are the internal fan 90A version. Are there any differences in the mount tabs of these alternators or are they exactly the same? I really don't want to mess with mounting bracket differences. thanks

Finally got a chance to yank the alternator. Got it tested and it was indeed bad. Installed the new one and all issues seem to be gone. Kind of a pain to swap it out, but it's done and I'm back on the road. Thanks to all that helped with suggestions for a fix.
