lost power on lj78

hi. newbie here. just fixed (well almost) the starting problem of my lj78 with 2LTE engine by replacing the solenoid cutoff. problem now is that there is a noticeable loss of power and the turbo's green light turns on even on idle. got a #5 error code, but after resetting the ECU and starting the engine, i got code #1, which means that things are normal.

any thoughts on what's causing the problem? i'm lost. any help is greatly appreciated.

yes, but only when we tapped the cut-off solenoid to the battery. any idea what's going on with my car? thanks much.

by the way, 3 weeks before i had the hard starting problem, the engine choke for about 2-5 secs after a cold start in the morning. i'm pretty sure though that it's not loose compression that's causing the loss of power. badly need help

solenoid was found to be the culprit (clogged and not fully opening). the truck is now back to normal. whew!
