Amazon.com: Black Plexiglass Sheet - 1/4" Thick Cast (24" x 48") : Industrial & Scientific - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRD2VXQ?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_D4AJ560CZ69HX8H2S7KK&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_D4AJ560CZ69HX8H2S7KK&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_apin_dp_D4AJ560CZ69HX8H2S7KK&titleSource=true
Here's some plexiglass 1/4"

Just need a double sided v shape window seal that's affordable and not 50 feet long

I would use lexan, not plexiglass. Plexiglass is brittle and much harder to work with than lexan. You can get lexan locally at hardware stores, home depot, etc.

not sure which is the best option, The passenger side door window glass on a 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser (1998-2007) is generally 4mm to 5mm thick, consistent with standard tempered automotive side glass.

any guesses?

Not the best photo, but I just used some leftover cedar tongue and groove to make a panel to house the controller, vent, and power. Doesn't seal at the window deflector, and the window just sits in the groove. I had these printed to align with the window tracks: Portable Diesel Heater by KeeganBuilds - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4271686, and hinged the panel so it stores a bit more compact.

Not airtight by any means, but the 2kW heater is easily able to keep the interior ~40F warmer than the outside despite heat loss from the long hose runs. We usually crack the DS rear window to get a bit of fresh air into circulation and avoid running the heater at the lower settings.
