We will be out in the Ruidoso/Cloudcroft, NM area and curious if anyone has info on local trails, side trips, etc. Definitely want to get off the beaten path. Will be in the wife's completely stock '23 Lexus GX460, so 4x4 available but obviously not a trail beater.
We are not new to the area, been going for years, in-laws have a place there. Just seems every time we're in Ruidoso it's a family event or some other time constraining plans and, frankly, have never explored much out there.
Just the wife and I chillin' this time with zero plans. Any suggestions??
