He he, so I'm looking at buying a used LX570 or 200 series soon.
Question is, would you buy a very low mileage truck from around a large city?
I found a 2008 with 30k miles total and looks clean for around $30k, and it's white. It's around 3 hours away from where I'm at around NYC.

The used car dealer sent me 3 pics of the undercarriage. Didn't look too bad. But the salesman is taking the pics.
What are the negatives? Suspension, brakes, the motor idles more?

Buy it if no to little rust. I paid more for mine with 100k miles 3 years ago. Don't worry if you have to fix little things.

I bought a 2008 with 69k on it two years ago this week. I paid $34k for it. If the one you are looking at is clean and rust free, no title issues, it sounds like a good deal to me. Is this an LC or an LX?

It's an LX. Not sure how rust free it is. The only good thing about this so far is, it is closer to me than any other I'm interested in so far.

One thing I'm noticing looking through carfax reports is at about every 20k miles brake pads get replaced.

City life is hard on cars. Northern life is hard on cars. I would rather have a 130k mile rig that spent its whole life going 80 in west Texas for 3 hours at a throw than one that was on the eastern seaboard and spent its whole life short tripping, idling, and banging around in stop and go traffic.

Yes I'm thinking the same. The more I look at the used trucks on the market the more I want to buy the newest year I can. Which is looking like a 2013.
