ditto terra grappler G2 , 285 /50 /20
loud , hard tires , looks good , will be helpful in winter .
first 100 miles on highway was very loud , later tires did quiet down .
do not like them .....next time ....michelins off course :frown:
Thanks for the reply, bummer you are not liking the Nittos. How many miles have you put on them?

I just ordered a set of Nitto's since very very few options exist in 285/50/20. Only other options are Geolanders and Defender LTX, right?

Sorry to hear.

I had NTGs on my 100 series. NTG G1, before the G2 rubber compound (that they share withe Toyo AT2s) I haven't heard great feedback about the G2 compound as it was focused on producing a longer treadwear tire without a redesign, to measure up to the competitive set. Which means they are a firmer compound, that trades some noise, NVH, and likely winter performance. Hate to say it, but my NTG G1s were not good in winter or cold, even on the softer compound. I don't have good hopes you'll find G2s good for that use either.

NTG G2s and Toyo OC AT2s are now both pretty old designs, from ~2013 IIRC. Good to see that Toyo's have now up'd the anti to AT3s, which are again super competitive. I'd expect NTG G3s shortly.

@risban Michelin's would be a great option. I'd suggest looking into 285/55r20 tires for more options and perhaps even a better ride with more sidewall.
