I originally posted this thread in the general 60 series forums and they directed me here. I finally found a picture of the tag number and from that pulled the vin, carfaxed it, and it currently resides in Marietta GA not far from where the guy I originally sold it to went. He sold it to the current owner, I sold it almost 10 years ago. We got it from the original owner in the mountains of NC. It holds serious sentimental value to me as her and I went on a ton of adventures and she always got my friends and I home (even after I flipped it). She did better off-road than anything else anyone in my highschool had and never broke, even when I put gear oil in the T-case (yes I was an idiot in high school) and forgot to torque the lug nuts on one wheel (some of my more notable mistakes in learning lol).
I have the title number of the current owners but I can't get their personal info unless I have a legal reason to do so. Now that I finally have enough money and skill to treat her right I'd love to have her back. Attached is a pic of what she looked like, only one ive ever seen with the dealer option pin stripes in that color. I still have the original doors from the right side where I flipped it and had to replace them. Even if they are not willing to sell now I'd love to reconnect and at least share some stories and put myself in a spot to buy her in the future.
