sadly, i have got to get some work done this fall.

btw, i don't understand why you aren't going through central washington and then down through central oregon on 97. it is a beautiful drive and pocatello and boise are way out of the way.

Well, I got my route off mapquest so it must be right. If I crossed the border at Abottsford, a twelve hour drive from Calgary, it would still take at least 15 hours to get to Deer Valley. Just ask Bull.

The drive through Idaho is equally as scenic as central WA. and quite a bit faster. And if I am really in a rush, it is faster to take the interstate down through MT.

My route through ID. takes me down 95 from Bonner's Ferry to Boise, where I cross into the SE corner of OR. and then into NV. The whole way through ID. I am never more than a few miles from the WA. state line.

This is hardly the fall Semlin. I could meet you in or around Cranbrook. It's not like we're talking a two week trip here.

ok well, i definitely could be wrong but i am surprised. if you went due south from cour d'alene to boise i could maybe see it, but going via pocatello really does seem a long way out of the way.

anyway, either way i am sure will be a lot of fun. you might consider taking 97 home.

and yes, this weekend is not "fall" but i just took last week off and have too much on my plate for a road trip. thanks for the offer though. it would be great to do a 45 run sometime.

you know....if it wernt like 3 days before you left for your trip, i would seriously consider saying i would meet you in cranbrook or something but it just aint gunna happen. for me anyways. have a wicked trip.
