Looking for a front tow hitch..

I recently got a tow rig for my '86 Toyota and my friend's '88 sami (its a flatbed 1-ton, his sami goes in the bed, toyota pulled behind ^^) and what I need now is a front tow hitch for the toyota. Preferably something that bolts on... Does such a thing exist?

Check you local RV dealership. Many times they have used ones out back.

HF has new ones for around $75.00. Although i would not put a HF one on my rig.

Are you looking for a front hitch receiver? I have one on my 95 and use it with a warn multimount setup. The front hitch bolts to the frame in 4 places and has standard 2" box. It was made by Warn. I can get a picture if you want.

Man that thing has too many uses, you could probably get one fabbed as cheap as you can buy one.


Pretty straight forward, skrap $ ($10?) labor 1/2-1hr ? ($30)


might get to save front hardware (tow loop/hook) that way to.

Actually I was looking for one like the pic i have in my first post; i've found some generic ones you can bolt on, and so i may end up going with something like that. The one I found is ~150 dollars.

Are there any like that specifically made to bolt onto the toyota?

A tow bar? $50 for an adjustable 5000lb rated one from J.C. Whitney. And it bolts on.

I don't have a picture with it hooked up, but I think you can see the pins and hookups under the bumper.
