Looking for a FJ40. What you think about this one?

I started looking again for a FJ40 and saw this one on the classified section in AL https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj40-bj40/799304-daily-driven-fj40-good-shape-alabama.html

I was not planning to spend over 6k for one but it does look pretty clean to me. What do you all think? Should I hold out for a cheaper one and build it myself or pay a little more and get something like this one.

Thanks Mike. I am still on the fence on getting a early bronco of a fj40. I am just waiting for the right one within my budget.

Marc some questions I always ask is what are you looking to do with your 40? The one in the above link looks to be a solid starter you can go out and enjoy it right now and gradually build it up to something more as you go or just enjoy as is for a few years and restore it later. IMO that's the ones I prefer to go after. You can hold out for something cheaper that requires a lot more time, money and work to get it where you want it or pay much more for something already built up turn key get in it and head out on any adventure you have your mind set on. Either way go with the 40 you won't be sorry and you just may find yourself a new addiction like the rest of us.
