I need connecting rods that hold the Pistons to the crankshaft.

Amayama has them listed as do others but upon inquiry they are discontinued.

Coffee hadn't kicked in yet. Still, the connecting rod assembly shows up on Amayama in stock for both the older and the newer engines 13BT. Or does that change when you actually go to the check out. Looks like the EPC doesn't list just the rod but a kit including the bearings as well.

Yes it is listed but when I did the parts inquiry they responded no longer available.
That does happen with Amayama and the other parts suppliers, so you don't know till you do an inquiry.

Any idea if they are the same size as a 3B?

Tried that too, but the 3b are 3/4" longer.

Not sure how that would work, are the Pistons same dia. as 13 BT?

Specs say same bore. you'd have to do some checking on part numbers to see what crosses over and if the crank runs same journal diameters. Lots of Dynas overseas so it might be a feasible way to build a 3.7L, maybe...

Have no idea validity or availability, but having embarked on numerous pink unicorn hunts, it's worth checking every trail for a scent.

Might try Steve at Land Cruisers Direct or @joekatana.
