If your father inlaw bought it to have a safer/newer vehicle his daughter can trust with his grandchildren I somehow doubt he will be happy with a 60 as the only vehicle...... IMOP anyhow.

My thoughts exactly. That's why I said "White Elephant"! You CAN'T get rid of it without getting the in-laws upset so keep it, use the '60 as a toy and live with it. It's probably a nicer vehicle for a daily driver anyways (cushy ride and a little more zip). The only way you'll be able to unload it without ending up in the doghouse is if it decides to die an early death or you buy a newer similar vehicle.

Toynut, I thought you and the rest would like to know that Maximum Overdrive moved a long ways on that Safari he posted here on MUD. The guy that bought it told me he paid $15,500. A long ways down from his first price offering of $21,800. The down side is that it doesn't look like he even did a proper coolant flush according to the new owner. Asking $21,800 you would think that his presale prep would have been maticulous. I had actually seen him doing doing work "prep" work on a Delica behind his place which was enough to put me off MDrive.

Anyways with your 60 and your current Nissan you know exactly what you got.

i got a tatoo from the place right beside them , and i saw them " working " in the alley one night , yeah i would have any thing double checked pre purchase any ways , i am going to park my 60 for a month and see how it goes i need to change my clucth and do my knuckles any ways , i may trade it for a less daily driverish truck or start making it less daily driverish !
