Looking at a V8 swap

Not sure when/if this will ever happen, but, Ive got a 1989 62, that, IMO needs a V8. What all is needed to do this swap? I've got a guy who does pretty much anything with cars, swap, bodywork, etc.
Obviously, engine (350 would be great) trans and transfer case.

What else am I missing/not thinking of?
Place to look at some drivetrains?

My brother swapped in a 4.6l vortec / transmission out of a chevy pickup. I don't recall it being over the top difficult, but I remember that mapping out the wiring harnesses took considerable time and effort.

Check FAQ as it isn't anything new and I'm sure there has been one or more writeups on the various configurations.
