tire size is irrelevant, with 5 inch lift springs you will have to do some driveshaft modification. Plan on both front and rear shafts needing to be lengthened with that amount of lift. I have two cruisers one with 4" springs the other SOA about 6" both have no dshaft mods and will not pull apart under the most extreme conditions. I guess it pretty much depends on your individual cruiser if others have to lenthen theirs. I have not done anything with mine.
I have a 4 inch MAF lift with 350 - SM465 - NP205 - 9 Inch. I had to have a new one made up. I pulled out of the garage and it was clicking as is bound up. (I took it out and drove front wheel drive for a little bit - talk about torque steer - scared the hell out of some oncoming drivers as I darted towards them). I called High Angle Drive Line and they hooked me up...great product.
