on a side note, if you carry a 76-78 birf as a spare and have switched to the shorter aisin lockouts, you are screwed. These birfs will end up protruding 3/4"...and you won't be able to reassemble the lockout once the birf is installed. If you carry a 76-78 birf for a spare, carry the matching lockout too...or plan for a rude surprise...
