I have 2 here and Kenny should have one still up there.

If I have one, its at the barn. I can't remember. I will check tomorrow and if it is, I will run it over to group camp tomorrow evening. Plan on coming to stay Friday afternoon.

Yep group camp fire so bring wood if you got it.

Getting there in the dark is easy if done before... first time it can be confusing but easy if you follow directions

left/north out of outpost on NC 109
- First Left on Mullinnix Rd
- at T intersection, Right on USFS 544
- at next intersection, Right on Badin Lake Rd USFS 597
- at next intersection, Left on Badin Lake Rd USFS 597a
- camp ground is on the right

Follow those and you should get right there..... there is only one other road you can turn on off of Mullinnix Rd but it isn't the T intersection.

Picture. outpost is circled on the right hand side and the campsite is on the left.

I'm bringing wood! And no Al not that kind of wood.

I'm also bringing a cooler of free beer! Free! Stuff that's been left at house the last 6 months

Took a few days but the roof is repaired and a new coating of elstomeric paint is on, fixed a couple of drawers, Fresh Water tank flush and filled, tested the 12V system (which I will jerry rig for the few days there), new tags on, and got rid of a bit of mold from a small Pepsi that blew in the heat while I was gone. Now if I could only figure out why my right turn signal is not working.

Starting to pack, well at least trying. Still not moved into the garage and of course can't find things or even move with all of the crap disorganized. Just as you start to load the trailer it starts raining!!! At least it is warm out and the forecast looks awesome.

We should be there around 1600L. I guess we can just park the pop up where ever is convenient? Might park on the back side under the trees again if that is the quiet spot. The little guy usually goes to sleep around 1930 so well before the sun even goes down. Let me know where I should set up and we will be waiting on ya'll

Damn fine job Al!

Thanks for all your hard work on Logan's Run. How are you going to do this from Cali next year? ;)

I have long arms ;)

This year never would have happened if it wasn't for help from Brian, Heather and Johnny though

I may fly back for the event next year but can't promise anything at this stage.

Agenda has been posted to post #1

We will also have printed versions to hand out at the event.

Yeah it pretty much is 1st come 1st serve but since you have a pop up and there is only so many places it will fit i'll see if we can save you that space under the tree. :)

Looks like we have at least 4 trucks coming up from from Charleston ( Swamp Fox Landcruisers). We are really looking forward to this event and seeing everyone from ONSC, it's always a great time!

I heard URE was pretty muddy from all the rain earlier this year, how are the trail conditions!?

No need Al, I think we will be the first ones there. Sun popped out and we are getting packed now. All part of a longer 2 week camping trip (Don't even know where yet) so there is a lot of packing going on and the 3rd row even came out for some serious hauling.

By the way I filled up the secret hooch hatch and there should be enough for a good time at least.

^ 1600 on Thurs? I will beat u! :) we can drink some beers when u show up. :)

A is the only spot for Thurs right?

I need to find a huge somewhat level spot for my new mega tent so my women's will b happy.

Great William! Did Michael B. get his truck fixed? Lydia has something she wants him to try; food wise that is. ;)

I haven't been to URE since Spring but it has been dry as a bone for 2 weeks here. Hopefully the rain shower tomorrow, that they are calling for, will settle the dust.

Glad you guys are coming and looking forward to a great weekend!

I was on the trails on Monday and the clay parts were slick as snot s***. That was this last Monday so be prepared for some slick parts that do not get any sun. It has even made Wolfden where i had to put it in 4wd to get thru.

You see the pics on FB i posted ? Ryan even had fun. There is a pic in chat about a jeep flopped on its side also in the same spot. I found the glass from that one out there monday. It is just opposite snot hill.

Hey Kenny! Yup, BBQ Boy's truck is back on the road, he took a pretty decent hit and it barely phased the landcruiser. Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone again and playin' around in some mud!

What meals are being provided?
