Locksmith Recommendation in MA? (1 Viewer)

I've committed the major mistake of losing my LC key and the ECU isn't recognizing my backup master key.

Are there any locksmiths in eastern MA area that anyone would recommend for doing the work for a 1998 LC? The alternative is local dealer of course but wanted to check alternatives before taking that step.

If you’ve lost the master the only thing a locksmith might be able to do is clone the key. If not, it’s an ECU replacement. I had to do the latter because my truck came from PO without master.

Toyota has a one time forgiveness policy and I’ve your VIN has never had it done then you only have to commit to buying one master key and I think one valet. Of course I had to show the dealer the policy, but it’s well documented here on ‘mud
