I'd just drill into the oem panel and use lock

But honestly, drilling into the tank is way easier to steal gas. Gravity fed. Everyone has a drill too.

I've also heard locking gas caps causing issues so maybe they aren't the way to go.

I have a Gates 31780 on my 14’ Sequoia and it works great, no issues!

Just go to NAPA and grab one. When it’s time for emissions switch back to the factory cap.
