Locker rotary switch.

Hi guys. I am new around here, but I am an old member of the landcruiserclub in ZA.

I have a HDJ78R and I would like to change my locker setup on the Troopie. I hate that damn rotary switch.

So I have taken the rotary switch out and wired 2 rocker switches to do the job. But I am still not happy. The ECU seems to be meddling.

I also want to make the 2 switches, control the locker individually. As though there are 2 x ARB lockers in. (I have this kind of setup in my 80 and it works brilliantly.)

So went to a number of auto electricians in ZA and they can't find a wiring diagram that details this wiring.

Is there anybody here that might put me on the right track, to find a wiring diagram for the lockers.

I want to have full control over the lockers. The ECU must not decide for me.

Check the 80 series forum. There is info on there that I have read before.

I spoke to an autolec here in ZA and he suggested the same. But he also said that the difflocks are independent on the control.

So yes. I have still not come right.
