Hey guys,

Need some opinion here, my car was fitted with a lock right locker. The other day when i went offloading, locked the free hub in the front, but when was going through obstacle, i could hear "tak tak tak" sound from the front but wheel aren't spinning. Went to the workshop took out the front axle and see this (chipped on the spring area). Please advise if this locker is broken or still can be used? Thanks

looks toasted to me, i had one in my fj40 break and it looked just like that. I tried to send it in under warranty and they told me no that something else in my diff had let go causing it. i knew they were right but i had try any way

Hi all,

It appears to me that the center clearance between the two halves of the Lockrite is way out of factory spec.
I'd bet if you get this Lockrite installed correctly there will be few issues.

Regards,

Alan

Alright. Thanks for your reply guys. Just want to double check, because when i engaged 4wd the front wheel arent spinning but hearing the tak tak tak sound constantly, i thought it was the shaft gear which gave way but never expected the lockrite would break first.
