Lubed the front-most zerk with a coupling just a little bit smaller than the lock-n-lube. Did not have to twist the angled zerk. Moral of the story is, the Lock-n-lube attachment is pretty damn good for all of the lube points except for the first one, where you need to twist it off and pop on the one that came with the grease gun.

I just greased whole truck with regular flex hose and normal straight coupler, large pistol grip gun. Leave gun laying on groung, work fitting onto zerk, all set.

As for needle fitting, it doesn't stay there, jam it in the zerk hole, continue to push upon it, while pumping in grease. This works fine also, for all fittings.

That is what I did on my grease gun.

I have two 12" flexible hoses coupled together... on the end is which a grease coupler that I ground a 'flat' on two sides (180° apart). It now easily fits into the yoke section of driveshafts.

The length of my hoses allows me leave the grease gun on the ground (if I wish), but more often than not....I just hold the coupler on the zerk fitting with one hand (to ensure it will not come off) and operate the grease gun with the other. Always use a pistol grip type grease gun. If you have a lever type gun....throw it in the trash or give it to someone you don't like.

I have a pneumatic operated gun...for larger projects (tractors and such) but I don't ever use it on the vehicles.
