Local Machine Shop Recomendation

I was hoping to get a recomendation on a local machine shop to do some head work when I replace my HG. I saw Yotamasters in an early post, but I am going to do the removing/replacement myself and just need someone capable for a head refresh using CDan's Regrind kit parts. Any thoughts?

I know this isn't exactly next door, but TLC in Van Nuys uses Bob's Machine in LaCanada for all their work. I've used them before, they are definitely a top-notch machine shop.

I used to rebuild engines for a living, many years ago, these guys are much better than the average machine shop. They are a bit more costly, however.

Another good place, in Chatsworth, is RD Machine. He has done a lot of machine work for SOR, so he's also quite familiar with the various LC engines.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind driving up there for a good shop that knows these engines. Actually, I own a rental property in the Valley and can probably combine a trip with that to take my head to them. I'll give them both a call.
