LM7 block, no dipstick hole going in FJ62 (1 Viewer)

So I’ve posted before and gotten tons of help from everyone, but this one has me stumped.

I’ve got an LM7 Chevy 5.3 from an 01 Suburban. I swapped the H3 oil pan and just realized I never removed a dipstick, and sure enough the old pan has an oil level sensor.

Issue is, my cast iron block doesn’t have hole drilled in it for a tube, and my new pan doesn’t have a spot for the old sensor.

Anyone have suggestions for how/where to drill a hole, or another solution?

How about buy a new oil pan that has the provision to mount the sensor?
