LJ78 Round Headlight Conversion (1 Viewer)

Has anybody done a round headlight conversion via grill swap on an LJ78? Not a square noise conversion. How did you acquire or fabricate your new grill?

I saw one on an LJ78 on eBay and found a better looking one on the yahoo Japan auction site, but getting one here seems tricky at best from what I can tell so far. Since I don't want to do a square nose conversion, this should be simple if I could just source the grill. I am located in the US.

Those grills look aftermarket.

Japanese auction sites may be a source. You may need a shipping address in Japan to buy one.

Those are aftermarket. Not sure if this helps, but FLEX opened up a branch in San Diego and they might be a source for these round headlight grills. I have not heard of them selling individual parts, but it's worth a shot.

That is a good idea - I didn't think about sourcing through a vehicle importer. Maybe if I'm lucky they can toss one in the back of a vehicle they are already importing.
