I own a199 0 lj78. I started it tonight and was letting it warm up. I went to drive away and every single Light went out. Dash lights tail lights the only lights that were working where my headlights. I checked the voltage on the alternator while it was still running it read 0. The batteries had 12 and a half volts. But it would not turn over or anything.so I am pretty sure that I have a short somewhere can anybody point me in the right direction?

Start by checking/cleaning battery connectors, grounds, and fuses. Trace the power with a voltmeter to see how far it gets.
