This is a local FIREMAN's answer to high fuel prices...... 1980-something Corolla diesel with the 3' "spoiler". He claims to get 55 mpg with it. He's working ona cone for the back of it to increase the aerodynamics. Shoot, it may just work.....

While in Santa Fe, NM...
I park my company truck next to this fellow cable locking his wheels. At first I figured he's never heard of lock nuts. But no, he tells me he's had enough of thieves and he wanted to make sure they understood that his truck would be more trouble than it's worth.
I can imagine what would happen if he got drunk and forgot to unlock his wheels. Kind of redefines the term, "...wrapped around the axle."
